The space comfortably accommodates up to 60 seated guests, or 90 for a standing reception.

For Cooking Block clients

Your launch room.

If you already cook here, the Bistro is your room for the moments that grow a business — a tasting for buyers, a launch night, a private dinner for the people who matter to your next step. Cook it in your own kitchen, carry it a few steps, and serve it in a room that's yours for the evening. For a small private meeting — a tasting for one couple, a contract over coffee — book it directly online at the kitchen rate.

The rarest thing a small food business can rent: a real room to host in, with its own kitchen attached.

Before you ask

The questions everyone has — answered plainly.

Is outside catering allowed?

Always. The Bistro is an open-vendor venue — the food is entirely your call.

Do you require in-house catering or charge a per-head fee?

No. The room is one flat, upfront price with no headcount surcharge — the number you see is the number you pay.

Can I cook or warm food on site?

Yes. A licensed commercial kitchen alongside the room is available by the hour if you or your caterer want to cook or finish on site.

Do I have to use your caterer?

No. Bring your own food, hire a caterer from the building, or build a menu from the community of makers who work here — three doors, your choice. Nobody is forced through one.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes. The room is yours; what's served in it is your call. If you or your caterer want to cook on site, a licensed commercial kitchen next door is available by the hour.

Is the price actually the price?

Yes. The room, the event-day kitchen, the event fee and the refundable deposit are published above, and your written brief itemizes anything you add. There is nothing to discover afterward.

How many people fit?

Up to 60 seated, or 90 for a standing reception. Tell us the format and the count on the form and we'll say plainly what works for your layout.

What does the event fee cover?

The utilities for your event, all the dishwashing, the clean-up and reset of the room, and the full service-ware — plates and tableware, water glasses, chafing dishes and serving pieces, hotel and sheet pans, serving utensils. Nothing to rent, truck in, or return.

Can I see it first?

Yes. Ask on the form and we'll arrange a walkthrough — the room, the kitchens beside it, and the doors your food can come through.
